Accountant

You will be the go to person for financial decision making by collecting, tracking, and keeping updated the company's finances. You will be responsible for financial reports, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping and maintenance of accounting records for several companies under the group
  • Ensure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintaining a structured filing system for corporate documents and filing all required supporting documentation
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations
  • Conduct regular creditors reconciliations
  • Deal with invoicing, collection, and payments
  • Preparation of various internal management reports
  • Preparation and submission of TAX,  VAT and VIES returns
  • Supervision of Payroll and SI Forms
  • Assist in the facilitation of the annual audits
  • Liaising with the management and clients.

 

Skills and Experience

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in similar position working as an accountant is essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software
  • Ideally Part or Fully ACCA/ACA Qualified, although holders of the LCCI qualification are also encouraged to apply.
  • IFRS experience and knowledge would be an advantage
  • Experience with financial statements preparation will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
  • Computer literate [MS Office, etc]
