Base Element Wins 3 Silver W³ Awards for Web Design Excellence

The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts announces that Base Element has received three Silver W³ Awards in 2018 for its work for Inibar Services.

October 22nd. In its 2018 participation in the W³ Awards competition, Base Element has won three Silver Awards for the design and development of the website for Inibar Services, a French IT services provider. The European digital agency was awarded a Silver W³ Award in each of the following categories:

  • Website Features - User Experience
  • General Website Categories - Computer / IT
  • General Website Categories - Services & Utilities

The website was the first project of a larger digital transformation program for Inibar Services initiated last year. Its success is a great boost for all the stakeholders involved.

Inibar Services is a French IT support services provider that caters to the restaurant, hotel and retail industries in the French market and its territories. Inibar services has unique expertise in point of sale (POS) and property management systems (PMS) as well as their peripheral devices and third-party systems’ integration. A leader in the field, the company quickly realised that they had to digitally transform their commercial operations so that they can better reach their target audience.

The new website acts as an information-hub, showcasing Inibar’s unique selling proposition (USP), services and competitive advantages. In addition, it functions as a lead generation mechanism, bringing in qualified leads interested in Inibar’s services.

Base Element worked in close cooperation with Inibar’s management to understand and clarify their business objectives, identify and crystallize their strengths, address their weaknesses and prepare the basic elements that would lead to a state-of-the-art and fully functional website.

Base Element employed the latest trends in UX/UI design to create an intuitive web journey, connecting users from each target segment to the information and pages that best relate to their individual needs and unique circumstances.

Through the information architecture and the content created, Base Element built an award winning website that helps visitors understand what Inibar does, who its target audience is and how they can derive value from its services.

George Iacovou, Director of Base Element notes: “Winning three Silver Awards is a great honour and a great reward for all our hard work. It’s a fantastic feeling and it means a lot to us at every level of the company. We are especially very proud of the User Experience Award as UX/UI is an area where our agency has significantly invested during the last years, and we are very happy that our efforts are now being recognised by the community of global experts.”
