On November 21st, 2023, the partners of the Brand Game project gathered in Argos, Greece, for the 2nd Transnational Project Meeting (TPM2). Hosted by Learning Seed, this event marked a key moment for collaboration, reflection, and planning on how to better support young NEET women (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) through personal branding and gamified learning.

A Warm Welcome and Shared Goals

The day began with registration and coffee, followed by a warm welcome from Learning Seed. It was a great opportunity for both returning and new team members to connect and align on the project’s mission.

Reviewing Progress and Deliverables

BASE ELEMENT presented an overview of the project’s current progress, work allocation, and upcoming deadlines. The team then dove into specific work packages:

  • WP2: BASE ELEMENT and UVA led presentations on sector analysis, the training framework, and the structure of the training pack. FyG outlined the validation process for the workshops. Partners aligned on timelines, including the finalisation of the English training pack in January and the multilingual version by mid-February 2024.
  • WP3: MIND THE GAME introduced early concepts and templates for the Minecraft-based learning environment, sparking brainstorming on how best to turn training content into engaging gameplay.

Communication and Promotion

Learning Seed facilitated a session on promotional campaigns and dissemination strategies, ensuring that outreach remains strong and coordinated. All partners will continue using the Admin Project platform to manage content and communication going forward.

Financials and Quality

BASE ELEMENT guided the team through financial reporting and documentation procedures. FyG emphasized the importance of consistent quality evaluation and reporting across the project’s phases.

What’s Next

A number of deadlines were set, including the internal testing phase in January and validation workshops by March 2024. The release of the final version of the training and game materials is targeted for April 2024, followed by dissemination activities.

The next in-person TPM is planned for August 2024 in Spain, hosted by FYG, with exact dates to be confirmed.

Final Thoughts

The meeting wrapped up with a summary of decisions and next steps. Partners left motivated, aligned, and ready to continue building tools that empower young women to shape their personal brands and futures.
