Nicosia, Cyprus – June 13th, 2023
The Erasmus+ project “BRAND GAME – Re-motivate young NEET women to enter the labour market by building their personal branding through gamified training” officially kicked off with a successful transnational meeting held in Nicosia, Cyprus. The meeting brought together partners from Cyprus, Greece, Spain, and Turkey to mark the start of this innovative two-year initiative co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
The BRAND GAME project aims to support young women aged 17–24 who are Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEET), by helping them develop personal branding skills and re-enter the labour market with confidence and motivation. This is to be achieved through a unique combination of tailored training materials, a gamified learning experience using Minecraft, and a dynamic online networking hub.
During the meeting, hosted by the project coordinator B.E. Base Element Ltd, all six partner organisations reviewed the project’s goals, structure, and implementation plan. The partners also discussed the upcoming tasks, including the development of the “Personal Branding 4 Women” training pack and the design of the BRAND GAME Minecraft world, which will simulate real-world job challenges and scenarios.
