Mauricio is a marketing and strategic planning professional with extensive experience in Brazil, Latin America and France. He has worked for a number of companies in both the corporate and the start-up world, mainly in marketing, strategy and consulting positions. Although he started his career with positions in the banking and petroleum and minerals industries in Brazil, he has been actively working with online companies and start-ups since 2009, either as a consultant or as a marketing leader in Brazil and France. In 2014, he actually cofounded a digital start up himself.
Through his diverse and valuable experiences, Mauricio obtained a strong general management background with expertise in all the phases of the development of a business, from business launch and definition of growth strategy to acquisition integration and the design of new ventures’ management processes. He holds an MBA from HEC Paris and can speak four languages fluently.
