Marilena is a finance professional with a strong educational background in Civil Engineering and Business and an impressive career with some of the most prestigious financial institutions in Cyprus.

Before joining Base Element, Marilena worked as a civil engineer and subsequently held consulting and auditing positions in PricewaterhouseCoopers, InterTaxAudit, and Zempylas, Vrahimis & Co. She has worked on  significant  audit projects  and  for clients such as the First Investment Bank, Coca Cola, the Cyprus Energy Regulatory Authority (CERA) and Jumbo to name a few. 

Marilena is a results-oriented professional, with extensive hands-on experience and strong analytical and problem solving skills in the financial, consulting and professional services sector.  In addition to her finance role, Marilena is head of HR.   Her business acumen, her work ethic and her people skills make her the go-to person for finance and personnel issues at Base Element.
